ABOUT REDEEMING ARTS
Redeeming Arts Family Theater was created to offer something rare in the world of performing arts—a place where people of all ages can experience the joy of theater in an environment that’s safe, encouraging, and built on strong values.

We believe that theater should be a space where families grow closer, creativity is celebrated, and everyone involved—cast, crew, and audience—is treated with love and respect. In an industry that can sometimes feel dark or unkind, we are committed to creating a culture where character matters, kindness leads, and joy is the standard.

Every production is crafted with excellence—because we believe that honoring the One who designed creativity itself means giving our very best. From the first rehearsal to final curtain, we pursue professionalism, passion, and purpose in every detail.

At Redeeming Arts, it’s not just about putting on a show. It’s about building a theater family where everyone belongs, and where light shines—onstage and off.

Meet the Artistic Director
Amy Joan Culleny has been directing theatrical productions for over 15 years — and she’s loved every second of it! She spent much of that time wearing multiple hats (and headsets!) as the Administrative Director, Show Director, and Stage Manager for Sojourn Productions of South Jersey, where she helped bring countless stories to life with excellence and heart. From there, she went on to launch Sojourn's Theater Arts Academy, where she trained students not just to act, but to shine — on stage and in life.
A graduate of a performing arts vocational high school, Amy’s roots in the theater run deep — and her passion for the stage is matched only by her joy in developing performers of all ages.
Now co-founder of Redeeming Arts Family Theater, Amy is continuing her mission to create uplifting, high-quality productions that feel like a breath of fresh air in today’s theater scene. Whether she’s directing a show, managing backstage mayhem, or encouraging a nervous first-timer, Amy brings a bold vision, calm leadership, and a whole lot of heart to every production she touches.
What we're all about...
Our mission is to shine a light into the world of theater. Here's how we do that.

We Lead
with Love
We strive to be known for our love—for our cast, crew, audience, and community. We believe kindness and encouragement change everything.

We Put
Family First
We create a theater experience that’s welcoming for all ages, with content and community that reflect strong values and invite families to grow closer together.

We Believe
Character Counts
We believe who you are offstage is just as important as who you are onstage. That’s why we hold ourselves to a high standard of integrity, responsibility, and grace—and invite others to do the same.

We Pursue Excellence
We believe in creating shows that surprise and delight—with professionalism, hard work, and passion in every detail.

We
Uplift Always
We believe joy and discipline go hand in hand. We work hard, lift each other up, and choose a culture of encouragement over comparison—always.
